Apple’s iPhone Control’s Over 66% of Mobile Web Traffic

Apple’s iPhone seems to be handily controlling the mobile web market at 66%.
Net Applications’ February results show the iPhone operating system having managed over nine times the usage of its next smartphone competitor, Windows Mobile, which had just 6.91 percent of the traffic measured across tens of thousands of sites.

Apple Faces Patent Lawsuit Over the Browser in the iPhone

A month after being granted U.S. patent No. 7,441,196,
a company in Los Angeles called EMG Technology is suing Apple for “the

New iPhone Apps Help Drivers Beat Speed Traps

NMobile and Trapster are
two mobile applications that provide up-to-date, detailed maps of
speed-enforcement zones with live police traps, speed cameras or
red-light cameras. After launching, each application pulls up a map
pinpointing the locations of speed traps within driving distance. An
audio alert will sound as vehicles approach an area tagged as harboring
a speed trap.
